Explore Tianjin

Tianjin Five Old Street

The five old street, located in the downtown area of Tianjin, is a block with five roads, namely, Racecourse Road, Mutan Road, Dali Road, Changde Road and Chongqing Road parallel from south to north. It has more than 2,000 garden-style houses built in the 1920s and 1930s of the last century, of which there are more than 300 buildings and former residences of celebrities, and it is known as the "Expo Hall of Architecture of All Nations".

The Tientsin Eye

The Tientsin Eye, officially known as the Yongle Bridge Tientsin Eye in Tianjin, is the world's only ferris wheel that spans a river and is integrated with a bridge. It is located in the heart of the prime area at the confluence of the three branches of the Haihe River, which is the most concentrated area of traditional and folk culture in Tianjin. Surrounded by landmarks such as the Da Bei Yuan, Ancient Culture Street, Drum Tower, Italian Style District, and Austrian Style District, it serves as the starting point for the Haihe River Water Cruise Sightseeing Area.

Tianjin Italian Style Street

Tianjin Italian Style Street is located on the banks of the Haihe River in the Hebei District of Tianjin. It is enclosed by Wujing Road, Boai Road, Shengli Road, and Jianguo Road, forming a square area. The area boasts over a hundred well-preserved European buildings dating back a century, making it a comprehensive and multifunctional area for tourism, leisure, entertainment, and cultural activities, with a focus on showcasing a rich Italian ambiance.

Ancient Cultural Street

Tianjin Ancient Culture Street is located on the northeast corner outside the east gate of Nankai District, Tianjin, on the west bank of the Haihe River. As one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Tianjin," Tianjin Ancient Culture Street has always adhered to the operating characteristics of "Chinese flavor, Tianjin flavor, cultural flavor, and ancient flavor." With nearly a hundred shops, it is a concentration of Tianjin's old-brand folk handicraft shops. There are authentic local delicacies such as Goubuli steamed buns, Erduoyan fried dough sticks, Jianbingguozi (a type of pancake), Laodai medicated candy, Zhangjia Shuipu (Zhang's Water Store), and Tianjin Mahua (fried dough twist). Tourist attractions include the Tianhou Palace, "Kite Wei" kites, and clay sculptures by Zhang, among others.
